Favourite subject

My favourite subject was and will always be social. The reason is that I find it really interesting and moreover I find it the most logical subject among all the other subjects. It's less imaginary and more realistic in the sense that whatever we study about it has actually happened or existent

We get to know about the major happenings of the world and is a very inspiring subject too. The four components of social are History Geography Civics and Economics. Under History we learn about the past and kings in Geography we learn about our environment and population and crops in Civics we learn about politics and democracy and fundamental rights and finally in economics we learn about the country's economy the money about unemployment and much more. They also explain where the countries stand in terms of these areas. My favourite component is History but I adore social as a whole.

I kind of get good scores in social but I like social not because I get good scores but because the knowledge we gain from learning the subject is infinite and I really like this subject. The realness and authenticity of social is what makes it my favourite subject.

My vacation

I wouldn't really say that this was a summer vacation trip it was more like a mini trip because my exams were around the corner and it was preparatory holidays. We were going to Chennai and Kumbakonam because it was my grandfather's 80th birthday and he was conducting a function to celebrate his 80th. I was curious about it and asked my mom about it for which she was like you will see it for yourself.

Then came 5th may the day we were supposed to leave our family excluding our dad left for the airport. When we reached the airport we were roaming around waiting for our flight. Afterwards we boarded our flight and it was a one hour journey. After 1 hour the flight landed in Chennai and we collected our baggages and left. Our dad was supposed to pick us up and as we met our dad we all left for the guest house as my dad stays there due to his office project. As we reached there we freshened up and left for lunch. We went to this place called spiceklub which was my dad's colleagues restaurant and it was really good. It was wonderful dining there after lunch we went back to the room and rested and in the evening we went to the temple and had dinner and called it a night.

The next day was mostly in the room till afternoon where we had to leave for Kumbakonam where the function was set to take place. We went by train and by 10 we reached there and we took an auto to our grandparents house as we reached there a bunch of relatives were already there as they gave us a warm welcome which was overwhelming. We talked for sometimes and then as we went to bed our cousin's asked us to join them for sleep for which me and my sister agreed. It was actually fun sleeping with them because mostly I have slept with my mom.We talked like crazy and then we slept. The function started the next day and would go on for two days and also to my surprise it was nothing like a birthday party as it had poojas and our grandparents had to marry. All I did was watch the pooja sleep repeat but I did spend time with my relatives. It concluded after lunch. After lunch we were mostly with our cousin's and we even watched a movie together and it was indeed fun being with them.

The next day was better as I understood what was going on and spent more time with others and then came the main part where our grandparents got married and me and my sister had to do aarthi for them as it was a ritual with that the function was over.It was our moms birthday that day so she decided to take us all out for dinner. We got ready and we all met at a common place and left in separate cars before which I had a best sneakout which my mom's cousin and her son we were actually at their house before our mom came.We all left for dinner and we bonded really well my cousin's even bought a cake for my mom. This was the last day as the next day we had to go back to Hyderabad. After dinner we slept. The next day we said our goodbyes and embarked on a long journey back to Hyderabad

It was indeed a great trip and I also learned a lot of things about our culture in this journey and it also had a lot of memories to cherish forever.

Movies

The movie industry is one such industry that is very popular across the world as it produces one of the greatest form of entertainment which is the movies. Everyone rich or poor watch movies and everyone can afford to watch movies at least on TV. It is the most affordable form of recreation.

There are many reasons why people watch movies the first reason is for entertainment because movies go on for a solid 3 hours and there is no need to roam around and a great way of spending time with friends and family. They educate us on a lot of things and also show us the reality. It is a great stress buster too.It also connects people it's not just a picture or dialogue they are way beyond that as people connect with characters on screen maybe because they feel they both are very similar in nature and we often feel that we are part of the story and experience. It brings different types of people together.Above all they inspire us to dream big or to become better people and motivate us to do things which we feel we can't

How can movies not have a bad side?. Yes it does,it is pretty addictive. People just end up watching 3 to 4 movies in a day and waste their time. It is a waste of money too as sometimes the film tickets are expensive and when we watch it online also we might have to pay but instead we can spend it on things that really matter. It promotes violence as people see a lot of stunts and fights and might even try them out which becomes very dangerous. Some movies are far from reality and are imaginative and people tend to believe imagination or at least hope for such a thing to happen which is impossible.Films show a lot of adult scenes as well which shows how to disrespect the dignity of a person.

Everything has two sides good and bad and in movies as well but the choice is yours. We can't say people to not watch movies because it's a bad influence on them. People are mature enough to know what they want to learn from movies and what they don't and showing bad contents is movies is not at all wrong in fact it creates awareness and people will ensure that they will not indulge in such dirty acts or become a victim of one.

Hence movies are neither good nor bad influence it is how people see movies and what they want to learn from them but as long as they are able to sort out the differences movies are not a bad influence at all. However they should consider movies only as a source of entertainment and education

Lonely

Oh why do I feel lonely
Which isn't that lovely
Lonely is just a word
but for me that means the entire world
Do people really care
What we tend to share
Why are people so fake
That they backstab us and throw us into the lake
My life seemed empty
The gaps in there were plenty
That led me to depression
Because of my lack of expression
I hid my tears with a smile
Oh my it did take quite a while
Oh how I wish I had someone to wipe my tears
And help me let go of my fears
Maybe I was meant to be alone
Because God thinks that I'm strong as stone.
But we should always stay strong
And warn others that we belong.

Nepotism

There is a lot of controversy going on particularly in the film industry in the form of nepotism but what on earth is nepotism and should that actually exist? Nepotism is where preferential treatment is given to such a person who is from a known family or background. This exists everywhere in every industry such as the film industry sports business etc.

People would obviously like to hire people who are from known background because they can easily predict that they will definitely be as good as their parents or relatives and there is a guarantee that they will bring success to the business We can't really say nepotism is favouring majority but we can also say it is the favouring of the minority as well and either ways nepotism seems really unfair,so personally Nepotism should not be the basis of selecting people but rather each person should be assessed individually and selection should be done based on the talent skill and passion rather than personal preferences because in the end we want effective resources for our country not useless ones.

Au Revoir Hyderabad!!

Goodbye to the city I love It is really hard. But it is time to fly above And move away from my yard.  Ten years of Countless Memories Stuck...
