Au Revoir Hyderabad!!

Goodbye to the city I love
It is really hard.
But it is time to fly above
And move away from my yard.

Ten years of Countless Memories
Stuck in my heart.
They are go to remedies
For a fresh start.

Sadly this place is no longer mine
Currently it's nothing but a tourist spot.
However there is no need to whine
As I can still see it a lot.

With a heavy heart I wave my hand
To this city.
Standing on the sand
Which is very tricky.

But a goodbye is a start of something new
Which is hard to accept.
Yet it is understood by a few
Which deserves huge respect.

New Year

Let us welcome the New Year

With a Smile on our Face

Without any Fear

But only with sheer grace.

Every year is just like another chapter of a book

But we can't turn them back

Even if we want to have a look

We won't find them in our rack.

Let this be a year of positivity

Which makes each and everyone smile

But not a one filled with negativity

Which can make our world so vile.

Hence let us make this year a memorable one

Where there is something that we can relish

But not a one which will be remembered by none

That we wish will perish.

Is money saved money earned?

You might be familiar with the iconic saying "Money saved is Money earned" but to what do you think it is relevant in today's context?. Yes to a certain extent but not completely. Previously people used to rely only on savings as a source of income. It is true that they can earn by saving money which we cannot deny at all.

But is it good to consider savings as your only source of income and is that money enough?. These are the two basic questions you should ask yourself before you decide to consider savings as your only source of income. In fact savings is not the only way of earning money and there are a lot of ways in which you can earn money and in fact you can earn faster and more money too as a rupee saved is a rupee earned but 2 rupees earned is 20 rupees saved.

By earning money you have the freedom to decide whether you want to spend, save or do both but spending as well as saving money makes majority of the population ecstatic and it is a highly recommended option because they know that it is too dangerous to empty your pockets or to not spend money at all. Its okay if you only want to use your savings to fulfill all your needs and wants but will you be able to fulfill everything only with your savings without compromising your needs?. Will you be able to earn immediately after all your money is exhausted?.

No! But by earning cash as well they don't need to compromise on anything or worry about earning cash immediately. You also have the choice of either increasing your income or decreasing your expenditure based on how effectively you use your money and as Benjamin Franklin said "if you would be wealthy think of saving as well as getting". Hence we can conclude that by saving money we can earn money but we cannot consider that as our income or monthly earnings.

Confidence and over confidence

Both confidence and overconfidence mean the same but the only difference between them is the level towards which we take these traits. Confidence is believing that we can achieve anything but if we take it a notch higher it becomes over confidence that is where the person feels that he is the only one who can achieve anything.

A confident person never thinks himself as superior and always believes in the fact that others are superior in their own ways whereas a overconfident one thinks otherwise. The confident one always believes in continuous practice and learning while the one who is overconfident never believes in them. The confident one also realises that no body is perfect and everyone tends to make mistakes and they tend to rectify them whereas the other one thinks that they can never make mistakes. Finally the most important thing that tends to distinguish a confident one from a over confident one is the patience to listen to others which the first type of person does and the second doesn't.

It's not wrong to be confident but taking it a level higher could potentially turn the tables and there is a risk that you can loose everything in your life as confidence makes a looser into a winner but overconfidence makes a winner into a looser. So choose the path you want to tread on very wisely as one can make you and the other can break you....

Sports team that I root for

I am a huge cricket fan and I watch all kinds of tournaments and matches in cricket but the one which I like watching the most is the IPL and my favourite team is the Royal Challengers Bangalore and I'm proud to say that I'm a RCB fan as I always support RCB through their thick and thin and whatever the outcome I would always support them. One of the reasons I support RCB is Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers the two pillars of RCB and apparently my favourite cricketers too.

The second reason is that RCB is not only about cricket but it's about entertainment too and they never failed to keep us happy even though even though there were times where they failed miserably. Speaking of entertainment there is one such person who never fails to entertain us in RCB and he is Danish Sait aka Mr Nags the RCB insider. He makes and posts a lot of videos about RCB which is extremely hilarious. Even though there is no guarantee of on field entertainment there's definitely off field entertainment in the form of Mr Nags.

Finally something which I adore the most is the RCB fans. Win or lose they never shift their loyalties and keep coming up in large numbers to show their support to them. That inspired me to keep cheering for RCB no matter what. I support RCB not because of the records and players but for the fact that I genuinely like them not only in their good but also in their bad times and as people say "If you don't support them at their worst you certainly don't deserve them at their best". Hence whether they win or lose I still love RCB and I'm proud to be an RCBian.

Education and intelligence: A thin line

There are many pair of words which almost mean the same but there is a thin line of difference and one such pair is education and intelligence. These like many other pairs mean the same but are different.

Education is acquiring or imparting knowledge to people whereas intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. Unfortunately people are judging ones intelligence on the basis of education. According to them the people who are highly educated and academically bright are smart as a fox whereas the ones who are uneducated and academically weak are as dumb as a donkey. This misconception is unacceptable and needs to be changed for the better.

Anybody can acquire education rich or poor but only a few have the ability to apply the knowledge and skills in real life situations and intelligence can be acquired even without education. Intelligence gives you the ability to think out of the box, analyse and solve problems coming your way and you can even apply your knowledge in relevant situations.

Hence intelligence helps you in a lot of ways but it does not mean that education is unimportant. It's really helpful if you have both but to conquer the world intelligence can take you a long way and never confuse education with intelligence as you can have a bachelor's degree and still be an idiot.

Respecting elders An outdated sentiment

In the past parents used to always tell their children to respect people based on their age and not to say a single word against them. But nowadays the tables have turned and respecting elders has become nothing but an outdated sentiment and in the end age is just a number which has no value and infact maturity or seniority doesn't mean age it means the sensitivity manners and the way we react to situations which has higher value than age.

Who knows the older person might be an unworthy one and the younger person a worthy one. You also get to see the elders complaining that people these days don't even have respect towards them but people these days are not fools to respect all their elders and they respect only those people who are worthy of their respect as respect is for those who deserve it and not for those who demand it.

So it's high time that we remove elders from respecting the elders and replace it with deserved so that the statement makes more sense.
